Congratulations to Dr. Meher Ony, who earned her doctoral degree in December 2025! Dr. Ony completed several studies on molecular diagnostic detection of laurel wilt and oak wilt diseases, and transcriptomics of oak wilt infected trees achieved through research undertaken in the Hadziabdic Lab!

Dr. Klingeman was recognized as a Graduate Director of the Year in 2022, alongside other honorees at the University of Tennessee – Knoxville Graduate Student Senate Honors Banquet.
