Philip Moore’s Pityopsis ruthii pollination research (on an endangered southern Appalachian aster) has been featured in BioOne VISTA (June 2026) that was published in the Journal of Kansas Entomological ScienceRuth's Golden Aster flowering in full sun as it grows from a crack in a boulder midstream on the Hiwassee River.
